Shakedown 03:55
Verse 1 Sleep soundly nothings wrong Ignore that fire alarm The heat you feel is fine don’t waste your precious time do you hear the ringing bells do you feel the shaking ground this world is coming down around us no one else will ever see the way that it used to be we run with eyes wide open we fall with words unspoken Chorus A break down on a national level A man dies making deals with the devil the world burns in an orderly fashion take your turn at the fatal attraction and I’ve got a lot to lose And you’ve got a path to chose So keep quiet don’t make a sound Hold tight they’re gonna shake you down Verse 2 Run faster if you can If you’re slipping take my hand I’ve been in here too long my god If I’m fading cut my loose Don’t let me be your noose You can’t be scared to lose your way A break down on a national level A man dies making deals with the devil the world burns in an orderly fashion take your turn at the fatal attraction and I’ve got a lot to lose And you’ve got a path to chose So keep quiet don’t make a sound Hold tight they’re gonna shake you down Chorus x2

Mary 05:35
Verse 1 Mary where do you go So many memories before you closed the door Mary who made you cry I'm on my hands and knees still looking for your alibi Verse 2 Mary why did you stay I gave you nothing but trouble but you never went away Mary what did you see That made you drop your world and run away from me Chorus I guess I'm just gonna live without your Sweet embrace I don't know if there's a single moment l don’t see your face And it takes me It takes me Away Verse 3 Mary who am I now The better half of me Was trapped in you somehow Is comfort close to me today I haven't felt that warmth since weeks past yesterday Verse 4 Mary is there an end Did you ever think that we would say goodbye as friends Mary you filled my cup The glass half empty now The optimist in me has had enough Chorus I guess I'm just gonna live without your Sweet embrace I don't know if there's a single moment l don’t see your face And it takes me It takes me Away Chorus I guess I'm just gonna live without your Sweet embrace I don't know if there's a single moment l don’t see your face And it takes me It takes me Away

Lifeline 04:42
Intro I took my time When I walked the line Can't seem to get into the right state of mind I sang a tune When I chased the moon There's something holding me Down down down Oh shoot me down Verse 1 If I ever fall Away from grace At least I'll go there with a smile on my face I'm cutting out But I'm moving slow I try to run but it tells me No no no Oh let me go Chorus Flat footed in an all out run Eyes cloudy with a loaded gun Sink your teeth in deep if it's not too late Broken handed with an iron grip Walk slow or watch your left hand slip Every time I close my eyes I see your hand holding the lifeline Verse 2 I'm breaking out But I'm breaking in There's nothing sweeter than that happiness If I should choose To feel nothing new At least I would not be falling for you Bridge Chorus Flat footed in an all out run Eyes cloudy with a loaded gun Sink your teeth in deep if it's not too late Broken handed with an iron grip Walk slow or watch your left hand slip Every time I close my eyes I see your hand holding the lifeline

about

This album is the culmination of over a year of heavy gigging, touring, and many nights spent around a table drinking beer and laughing with friends. After winning the battle of the bands in our hometown of Lawrence, Kansas we finally had the funds to record our first ever professional EP. Filled with tales of frustration, heartbreak, longing, and good times, we are incredibly proud of the music we have worked so hard to create. We chose to record with Avenue Record Company, and with the help of the wonderful Matt Richards we are so excited to release a project that we love, and we sincerely hope that you do too!
